• Voice and chat inputs - conversations you have with Padii, including voice recordings where you choose to use the voice feature.

• Usage data - how you interact with the app, features you use, session duration, and in-app behaviour.
• Device information - device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.
• Log data - IP address, timestamps, and error logs for debugging and security purposes.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your Aadhaar, PAN, or government ID unless required by law and explicitly requested.
• We do not collect credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or payment credentials.
• We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver and improve Padii - personalise your financial companion experience based on your conversations and context.
• Communicate with you - send you updates, respond to your queries, and share relevant information about your financial questions.
• Build better products - analyse usage patterns (in aggregate and anonymised form) to improve our features.
• Ensure safety and security - detect fraud, prevent abuse, and protect the integrity of our platform.
• Comply with legal obligations - respond to lawful requests from regulatory or law enforcement authorities where required.

We do not use your conversations with Padii to serve you advertisements or sell your data to financial product companies without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers - third-party vendors who help us operate our platform (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support tools). These partners are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
• Financial product partners - if and when you explicitly ask Padii to connect you with a loan provider, insurance company, or investment platform, we will share only the information necessary to facilitate that connection, and only with your consent.
• Legal requirements - if required by Indian law, court order, or regulatory authority.
• Business transfers - in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your information. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only, on a need-to-know basis.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
